Cryosurgery – Moles / Verrucas / Skin Tags / Lesions

A safe non-invasive painless treatment targeted for the removal of a variety of benign skin lesions such as skin tags, moles, milia, age spots, cherry angiomas, verrucas, lentigos, seborrheic keratosis and actinic keratosis. Cryogenic gasses (nitrous oxide) at extreme low temperatures are used to surgically destroy targeted tissue through lysis of cells which may occur through the formation of ice or rapid changes in osmotic pressure.

Evaporation of the liquified cryogenic gas draws heat from the treatment area(s) whilst a special device is used to deliver the liquid gas directly onto the lesions to be treated at -89 degrees Celsius. You can expect to experience necrosis (death of skin lesion) on the treatment area(s) with a recovery time of 10 to 14 days with new tissue growing inwards from the surrounding epidermis.

In some cases, it is recommended to receive 2-3 treatments for the effective removal of more stubborn skin legions like verrucas, warts and large moles. Strataderm® is highly recommended as a topical aftercare cream to dramatically prevent and reduce scarring following your treatment.
